My approach to announcing that I might be posting less frequently on my blog generally involves lots of wheedling and whining about how busy I am. Then half the time I end up posting anyway because I can’t stay away. So no one pays particular attention to what I say anymore. Then some days I just go AWOL without notice.

Your system of a straight-forward announcement with no whining? Very odd, but I suppose if it works for you…
