Sexbolt Saturday: Quick Tips to Fire Up Your Love Life

Need a few ideas to light up your love life? We got ‘em (and we thank the Almighty Men’s Health for some reminders). Here’s what you can do…starting TODAY!
- Give the girl a coffee. Research has shown that female rats wanted more sex after a shot of caffeine. Indulge in some pre-nookie brew together and watch what happens next.
- Engage in some pre-dinner skroinking. Sex tames stress, so before you sit down to break bread together, have a little appetizer…in bed.
- Put the “We” in Wii. Breaking a sweat together can get you fired up in a hurry, so bust out the video games to spark a friendly bout of competition…the winner gets first dibs on the sexual favor of their choice.
- Hug each other before hitting the shower. The smell of a man’s hair and skin has been shown to make a woman less tense, nervous and negative, paving the way for a little love session.
- Pick a chore your partner hates and take it on yourself. A recent survey showed that sharing chores makes for a happy marriage. Happy marriages often have happy sex lives. ‘Nuff said.
- Try a different kind of morning wake-up call. Put those extra levels of testosterone to good use by starting the day with a sheet dance. This, of course, would make a fine substitution to #4. Fine, indeed.
- Make like it’s your first date. “Meeting” your partner for the first time elicits feelings of excitement and mystery, not to mention a healthy dose of self-confidence. Have one of you “stumble across” the other at the bar or the gym and see what kind of chemistry results.
- Have fun. It goes without saying that the stresses of every day life can interfere with our love lives if we let it, but keeping a light-hearted sense of fun in our relationships can make a world of difference. So let it all hang out. Enjoy each other. And have fun!
