I knew changes were coming but still, it was a shock when I clicked onto Healthbolt today and discovered that all the red had gone.
It was like the blood had been drained out of it.
In fact, I had to look twice to make sure I was at the right blog.
I wonder if everyone feels like that when they have a facelift?
But like any good facelift, what’s underneath stays the same.
Healthbolt is still going to supply the interesting, the intriguing, the entertaining, the bizarre, and sometimes down right gross in the world of health and wellness.
So what do you think about …read more
Health & Fitness Blogs On the Map.

Looking for some new health and fitness blogs to read or prehaps searching for some old favorites like, say, Healthbolt?
Then check out this neat Health and Fitness Blog map created by Mike from Beach Fitness.
You can’t see the names of the blogs here as I had to reduce the size to get the map to fit.
But if you click here, you’ll end up at the full screen, readable version of the map. It’s worth it. The map is a great resource and has introduced me to a number of health and fitness blogs I might never have found.
One thing though. I’m thinking that the …read more
Guess What? Antibacterial Soap is NOT All That!

As the kiddies head back to school (and back to scads of germ-acquiring opportunities) resist the urge to splurge on antibacterial soaps. Though the sheer impact of their title may make a weary parent squee with anticipation of heading off the beasties, antibacterial soaps are really no better than just plain soap and water.
True, many brands claim superiority, but the fact of the matter is that most of these drugstore soaps do not contain enough of the active ingredient triclosan to make them effective. In fact, in studies, families who used antibacterial soaps averaged the same number of germs on …read more

Not sure about yours, but my calendar is saying that summer is (gasp!) almost over! And while the underlying excitement of autumn’s sites and smells, routine schedules and child-free moments helps soften the blow, it’s always hard to say goodbye to such a carefree time of year like summer, is it not?
Well today you don’t have to. Because it’s Theme Day once again here at the b5 media Health & Wellness channel, and this month’s theme is all about eeking out that last bit of Summer Fun. Check out what our bloggers have to say:

Sexbolt Saturday: Positions, Please!

Filed under Blogosphere, Recommended, Relationships, Sex, Sexbolt Saturday, Web
Last week, I asked you guys to tell me what you want to know more about in the, ahem, bedroom department. And one of you said “sex positions.” Well, lucky thing, I ran a feature on this very thing back in April. Give it a look – it points you in some fun directions (literally) and all but guarantees a great time.
I want you to know I’m still on the hunt for more sites, but mind you, some of them are a smidge graphic. I’ll keep you posted though.
As for the prolonging orgasms / multiple orgasms request, consider me on …read more

Yes, it’s time again for another jam packed edition of the Healthbolt Carnival. I’ve done very little editing on this time around, leaving the posts in the order they arrived and only removing those that didn’t fit and those who sent in more than one post from a blog. As a result, we’ve ended up with a diverse collection of articles for you all to check out. Happy reading. And let us know what your favorite is…
