“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door”

This is the engraving at the base of The Statue of Liberty, but what if it was on the home page of something like Myspace? Then you’d get Webtribes. This is a social network of independent sites each catering to a differently challenged group of people. They have a “tribe”,or social networking hub, for addiction, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, anxiety, and HIV/AIDS. After opening an account, you can do all the standard social networking stuff, like share pictures, start a blog, add friends, etc, etc.

It seems like a good way to find people with common interests and people interested in talking about their problems, which are the same as yours. Now get over there, and find yourself an enabler.
