Basic jewelry business information

Why in the world would you want to reinvent the wheel? It’s already pretty well defined! But that’s what a lot of us do when it comes to setting up a jewelry business. Sometimes we just don’t know where to go to get the information that we need, or we’re not sure whom to trust.
Well, I can give you one really good piece of advice: a lot of what you need to know can be found at About.com, specifically in the jewelry making site that my friend Tammy Powley guides.
Tammy has articles galore on business topics at this site. Wondering about legal issues? How about pricing your jewelry (only one of the most intimidating aspects of the business!)? Or maybe you’re at the point where you’re ready to think about a sales rep.
I picked these three examples specifically because they are the questions that I’m most often asked, and you know what? I’m not going to reinvent the wheel when it comes to giving good advice!

Tammy’s articles are great!
Yes they are! I learned a lot about the jewelry biz from Tammy back when I was first getting my toes wet
Thanks for the kudos, Cyndi!
Well thanks for all the great information!!
I had come across Tammy’s site years ago when I started in business. I relied heavily on the information in the beginning and still find myself checking her site out periodically.
