Bead mixes are a good way to expand your bead collection, especially if you are fairly new to beading. Especially, when you are just getting started, you may have problems figuring out what beads are right for your needs. Also, many jewelry supply vendors require that you buy in bulk, so you end up with tons of the same stuff. That’s fine if you are like me and could fill up a spare bedroom with your bead collection no problem, but if you want to have a variety of beads without the cost of buying large amounts, then consider bead mixes. Many bead suppliers sell them these days. For example, pictured is a mix from 2 Bead or Not 2 Bead. This is from their “fusion” collection, which goes for $7.35 a 15 gram bag.
