Bead Journal Project: August & finished!

I’m finished, I’m finished, I’m finished!!! And I wasn’t late in finishing, just in posting about it 
Bead Journal Project for 2008 – 2009 is officially finished! We’ll be starting up again for our third year in January 2010. I’ll make sure I post about it when I have more news…it would be fabulous to have more folks join in!
Each month, I chose a fragment of scripture from one of the Psalms and used a heart shape to create a little 4 x 4 inch beaded piece that illustrates the feeling of that verse for me. Here is my piece for August:

My soul follows hard after Thee

I was also trying to do the color theme in the quarters, you did a good job with that.
Thank you, Sheba! That was one thing that I learned from the first year, that the finished display will look more cohesive if the colors are planned. Not that it’s terribly important, but I wanted to give it a try this time
Oh Cyndi, how lovely they are all together, just like the Psalms that inspired them! I would not call them simple… instead I would use the words pure, spiritual and gentle to describe them… add peaceful too. Collectively, they make me feel optimistic and happy. Thank you!
