Jewelry and Beading

Bead Journal Project: July

I’m a day late, but not a dollar short, on reporting about my July BJP piece! It was done in plenty of time, but I just couldn’t seem to get around to photographing it…lazy girl!

Each month, I’m choosing a fragment of scripture from one of the Psalms and using a heart shape to create a little 4 x 4 inch beaded piece that illustrates the feeling of that verse for me. Here is my piece for July, which is the second piece in the Summer group (June, July, August).  By this time next month, the entire project should be finished…Yay!

I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.

We’re talking about doing the project again, for a third year, and I believe that we’re going to be waiting until January 2010 to kick it off this time.  I’ll make sure I post about it when I have more news…it would be fabulous to have more folks join in!

Here are the three completed sets: Autumn, Winter, and Spring

  1. Paul says:

The path goes everywhere. This is not running back and forth, just that we best help by being available in all directions, and accessible from any direction, just like God, and entirely free in our expression of worship.

You *so* get it! Thanks for the confirmation. There is no backing and forthing at all…it’s just that no one’s path is ever completely smooth or straight through their life. At least it isn’t if they’re doing life right! :-)
