I made this one for a new article that I’m writing for Jewelry Crafts magazine. What did you make last week?

Wow, impressive, how did you make it?

  2. Cyndi says:

Hi Mimi! I can’t give you step-by-steps for this one yet, because it’s going to a magazine first, but the bottom line is that it’s images and paint on wood discs :-)

  3. Cheryl says:

This is gorgeous! I’m totally intrigued by the wood discs and how they were made! Did you make them?

  4. Cyndi says:

Thank you, Cheryl! I didn’t make them, only drilled out the holes a little bigger. I got them from Fire Mountain Gems, in a pack of various sizes and colors. They are very slightly domed on the fronts and flat on the backs. :-)

  5. Sue says:

Wow that is a very beautiful necklace. Very unique.

  6. Mimi says:

    Cyndi,
In looking at this again, it really is beautiful. It looks like decoupage in the image of autumn leaves with a high glossy finish. Do you know what issue it will be in?

  7. Cyndi says:

Well, I guess it *is* kind of decoupaged, but with paint added!

Unfortunately, I never know which pieces in which issues, but I always post about it as soon as I find out :-)
