Designing with metal filigree

Dara Spiotto writes that everyone but her seemed to know the trick to using filigree pieces as components in their work. Well no, Dara, that’s not quite true. I didn’t really know much about it either! I’ve seen some wonderful pieces that bend the filigree around to make a frame for a cabochon, but I hadn’t thought much beyond that point.
Well, Dara has written a wonderful article for The Beadin’ Path, showing us many more tricks to using filigree pieces. It’s well worth a read!
