I create bright, bold, modern jewelry using gemstone and natural components like pearls and shells. I love to pour over my collection of beads and focal pendants, and I let my materials provide the inspiration for my work.
It might surprise you to know that I’m a database administrator at a virtual public school by day and a web application programmer. It probably won’t come as a surprise that I have a vibrant green kitchen counter, a bicycle covered in beads and bells, and hundreds of Christmas ornaments dangling from my ceilings year-round.
Love your designs, Karen. So rich and lush, and great earthy, natural tones. It all feels so organic and incredibly current. Love it.
The blend of both natural components and gemstones made the final outcome look very lively. Very original work that has been nicely put together.
