A reader of mine emailed asking if I ever planned to produce jewelry making videos, and I have to admit this is something I’d love to do. I’ve played around a little, but time and resources are tough these days. However, she pointed me to some great web videos available at Auntie’s Beads called the Karla Kam.
Using YouTube.com, they have a number of free videos available on project such as the crystal and wire cross pendant pictured above. So you get a virtual class right there on the Internet. Very Cool!

I thought Karla Kam at Auntie’s Beads was an excellent instructor on projects using different types of beads and wire wrapping. This video was easy to follow and understand. The pictures were clear and not out of focus.
Karla is professional and friendly at the same time. I give all of Karla Kam’s at Auntie Beads a high rating.

I do agree that the video’s are wonderful, however beware when shopping in person in the store. The customer service is HORRID!!! I was over charged for items that I purchased and was not given all of my purchases. I didn’t realize until that evening that not everything I paid for was in my bag, so when I finally got someone at the store to answer the phone the next day I was disappointed to find that they don’t believe me. I was flat out told that it was my error…that I either overlooked it or lost it on the way home. I’m sorry, but you DO NOT tell a customer something like this over 2, $2 items. I spent well over $100 in the store just to get a few things and you want to call me a liar because I said I didn’t recieve $4 worth of merchandise??
I will be spreading the word to everyone that I can…SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK AT AUNTIE’S BEADS!! Double check your receipt as well as your bag before you even step away from the counter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sophie, I’m terribly sorry you had this negative experience. It’s so important for any of us who are in business to remember how we ourselves like to be treated when we’ve got a problem.
