Jewelry and Beading

Learning Jewelry Design

cfoxcd.jpgOne issue beginners have when learning to make jewelry is the design process. Understanably, the average beginner learns by copying other people’s designs, and I mean that in a good way, as in following step by step projects in books, magazines, and from the web.

But at some point, when a beginner is ready to move on and create her own unique designs, it can be tough to know where to start. Connie Fox’s CD, Design Fundamentals for Wire Jewelry, helps guide any one at any level through basic design principles. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to study some formal design techniques.
