Mixed Media Jewelry Book on the Way

Wow! This has been a great week for me. I’m seeing my jewelry all over the place lately. First, Beadwork, and now I just got my latest baby in the mail yesterday from the publisher. This is my review copy, so I’m supposed to look through it and find any errors so they can fix them asap. Of course, it’s hard to do that while you are drooling over it.
I’d love to take credit for every piece of jewelry in there, but alas, I had some wonderfully talented artists help out with this book. The cover piece, among many others in the book, was created by Phaedre Torres. Other designers who participated include Julia Andrus, Opie and Linda O’Brian, Jennifer Perkins, and our own Cyndi Lavin here at b5media’s Layers Upon Layers. I’m just naming a few. All total, including myself, 27 designers contributed to this book. I learned to much doing it, both as far as new mixed media and jewelry techniques but also as far as putting a book together with such a large and talented group.
That’s awesome Tammy. So when can I expect to see it at my local Barnes and Noble?
Very cool. So it’s not far off being available in stores? Looking forward to seeing one myself.
It’s available for early ordering at Amazon, but it should be in regular book stores in about a month or so. B&N usually carries them, and Micheal’s crafts picked up my other books, though I don’t know about this one yet.
