Just what is “natural brass?” The folks at Vintaj want you to know, so they’ve addressed this question on their blog.  The piece I showed you this week, Gypsy Magic, used quite a few brass beads and filligree components from Vintaj.

Brass is not as generic as gold or silver, and it looks slightly vintage when compared to other shiny stuff, even without true aging of the metal. The current retro trends certainly helps. My quick and easy brass earrings are looked at more than my similar earrings in silver and gold shades.

I am personally finding more and more people in copper, brass, and bronze over the more traditional metals. I’m not sure why that is, but it suits me fine!

This is a nice peice it’s got a rather gypy look to it. I haven’t tried dark metals yet. I’m just experimenting and learning.
