Jewelry and Beading

Netting Ornament Cover

bd-ro-cover.jpgThis simple Beaded Ornament Cover is still one of my favorites. I usually make at least a few every year. If you are new to seed beading, this simple project is also a great way to learn the netting stitch. Use different colors of beads to get different looks.

I love this design! It works up amazingly fast and I have embellished it with tiny jingle bells, fringe beads, “elf shoe” beads, dagger beads, drops, tiny dragonflies, and many other things. Using different beads makes the design look entirely different! I highly recommend this design for anyone wanting to make some unusual, handmade ornaments. They make great gifts. I thank the designer of this pattern for making it available to share with everyone!
