Project Runway, Episode 10…Transformation

In a season that has been pretty low on drama (and some have said it’s been low on talent too, although I’m not sure I agree), it looks like last night and next week may be the pinnacle.

Spoilers ahead…don’t click unless you want to know the results of the challenge!

I am truly disgusted with Kenley. There is no excuse for giggling like an immature little schoolgirl like that when the judges criticized Joe’s outfit. Remember how she did that to Daniel too? No, on second thought, I apologize: most schoolgirls are far more mature than she acts. If I hear her say one more time that she’s not interested in Tim’s opinions…

Notice she didn’t win last night, but from the look on her face she obviously thought she was going to. Perhaps, just perhaps, it was the tulle…?

I love most of her work, last week being a glaring exception, but she’s got a lot of growing up to do personally.

OK, on to more positive notes. I loved loved loved Jerell’s outfit, his girl, her mother…just everything. Now, maybe he lucked out a bit by having someone who was easy to get along with, but that outfit he made her was just absolutely perfect for her body, her style, and her life.

Goodbye, Joe. I’m sorry that it didn’t work out for you, but according to the buzz, you did get to show in Bryant Park as one of two decoys. Who do you think will end up being the other decoy? Apparently five designers ended up showing, and there are five right now, including Joe. Or am I miscounting? I predict that Korto, Leanne, and Jerell will be the finalists, and that Joe and Suede are the decoys. What do you think?

Oh duh!! I did miscount! I forgot about Kenley :-)

I’m a Project Runway fanatic, too. I TIVO it just in case I’m caught away from the television on Wednesday nights. I had to comment and say I agree with you completely about Kenley’s show of immature disrespect last night, both with her attitude with Tim Gunn and the giggling at Joe’s critique. There’s a petty inconsiderate nature to her that’s not attractive at all.

I am so tired of Kenely’s attitude. Her client was definitely a mini me, notice how she giggled too. I almost think she is comparable to Santino with their f@# you attitude to the judges. She has some talent and a point of view, but she will never make it in the business with her immaturity. Maybe her cattiness will get her threw.

I felt like the jugdes were a bit harsh on Leanne. I agree that the jacket was a bit much, but the dress was darling.

I really didn’t agree with the judges at all on Leanne’s outfit. Her client asked for something that made her look older, and that’s what she got. But, unlike Joe’s outfit, the jacket wasn’t some 80s throwback. I know I’m old myself, but I thought it was pretty cute. Not the colors I’d choose, but still. And yes, the dress was very cute!
