Salute to Glass Jewelry!

So, I’ve been on a theme kick lately on this blog, and August is one of the hottest months of the year. Thus, my theme for this month is hot glass jewelry. I’m going to talk about how lampwork beads are made, fused glass jewelry is created, and give you ideas about how to incorporate glass components into your various jewelry designs.

Even if you are a buyer of glass components and not a maker of them, I think it is still important to have an understanding of the glass processes so that you can learn to select quality glass products, such as quality lampwork beads.

I’m looking forward to your lesson. I’m interested in making glass jewelry – although my adult son says I’m sure to burn myself, or burn the house down. Please let me know when you start the lesson – I’ll be here. Thank you.

Since I am a glass fuser, I am looking forward to this. Thanks.
