Classes, socializing, and shopping!

The Bead & Button Show is almost upon us!   Although most people who are going have already made their plans, perhaps this is the first time you’re hearing about it.  Or maybe you have changed your schedule recently, and you’re wondering if it’s too late.

The answer is NO!  You can still go, but you’ve got to make your plans NOW!!  The show starts on May 31, so visit the link above and see what classes are still available.  If you just want to go for the socializing and shopping, there’s all the info you need at that link too.

Anyone going who’d care to share impressions and pictures afterwards?  Email me at cyndi @ b5Media.com (remove the spaces) and we’ll set it up!

Who’s going to Bead & Button?

bb.jpg

All the information you need can be found at the Bead & Button website! This is going to be quite a show, that’s for sure. I’d love to be there, but poor poor pitiful me is going to Italy the next week. I’ll have to enlist some spies to take pictures and share them with everyone. Anyone want to volunteer for the job? Seriously, if you’re going, I really want to hear about it, so please either email me or leave me a comment below :-)

Don’t forget that the last 3 days have the fabulous International Marketplace on the third floor of the Midwest Airlines Center where the show is being held. If you go this link on the B&B website, you can find a couple of coupons that will either get you $2 off the regular $9 admission to the market, or you can print the “Grab a Friends” coupon for Sunday which admits 2 people for $10!  If you’re already registered for a class, your marketplace admission tickets are included, so you don’t have to do this.

Also, it’s not too late to sign up for some of the 530 classes that are being offered. Some are full, but I’m sure there are many fine classes with openings left!

Bead & Button Show, June 1-8 2008

The countdown has started!!  Online registration is open, and hearts are all a-flutter over what is planned to be the biggest, baddest bead show ever!  You can get all the information and even complete your registration at the Bead & Button website.

One of the special events planned this year is the first ever Flame-Off, held on Friday night, June 6, and featuring the lampworking exhibitors and faculty.  Wow!  What excitement that is going to cause!
