Chinese Knots for Beaded Jewellery
by Suzen Millodot
I had a great time working my way through this book! The main reason it caught my eye was because I was getting into a rut with using only two to three styles of fiber knotting. I wanted something more, and I found exactly what I was looking for in Suzen’s lovely book.

I had a great time working my way through this book! The main reason it caught my eye was because I was getting into a rut with using only two to three styles of fiber knotting. I wanted something more, and I found exactly what I was looking for in Suzen’s lovely book.

Her photos and instructions are very easy to follow, and what I like the most is that she gives you a little gallery in the beginning of the book, showing you what the knots look like. I found one I liked right away and turned straight to it. I was able to make a decent sample from some satin cord that I had on hand. My next step is to get some cord that won’t be quite so stretchy Don’t you think this would make a nice cord to hang a glass pendant on?

Find more wonderful beading and jewelry books in The Library!

Another related book by the same author is Celtic Knots for Beaded Jewellery. That one’s next on my list to work through!
