How do I describe my work….
Nature orientated, detailed, realistic and fun. I don’t like “serious” art, people should enjoy it not be depressed by it. With beads it is pretty hard to do something depressing anyway but I have seen it done. I picked my business name so that it could be used with both my painting and my beading work. Not terribly imaginative but when you are creating two diverse forms of art it is hard to find the right word and logo that will fit both.

Felt and Chain Mixing It Up

I have a new felt and chain necklace project posted on my About.com site. The felt is actually rope felt that I got from Ornamentea.com – Very unusual stuff. The large linked chain used in this project also came from their web site.
It’s pretty hot outside, so it’s kind of hard to imgine wearing felt right now, but come winter time (especially up north) I think we’ll be seeing a good deal of felt jewelry this season.
