Valentine’s Jewelry Countdown

With Janurary coming to an end soon, that means Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. I love this holiday because hearts are some of my favorite types of beads. Therefore, I ened up using this as an excuse to make lots of heart-themed jewelry.
For the next few weeks, I’ll feature some past and present projects I’ve made that have some kind of heart and/or Valentine’s connection.

Introduction: FashionTribes

Another one of my blogosphere fashion picks is FashionTribes. Covering everything in the fashion world from jewelry, such as this cute lipstick pin, to beauty and culture, FashionTribes is loaded up multiple times a day with blog posts on all things fashionable.
This blog is actually part of the FashionTribes web site, which is an e-zine edited by Lesley Scott. The idea is that we all have our own “tribe,” our own sense of style.

Hearty Jewelry Makers

Hsien-Hsien Lei, PhD over at b5media’s A Hearty Life recently posted about the Go Red for Women campaign. If you join up, you will be sent this cute Swarovski cyrstal pin, along with information about keeping yourself and thus your heart fit.
I know for me, since my dad had a mild heart attack last year, I’ve come to realized it was time to get my act together. I’ve sent away for the pin, and I’ve also started blogging about my attempt to get into some kind of decent shape.
