Cleaning Countertop Stains

Do you have spots on your countertop from juice, cola, coffee or tea? Try this tip to make those spots go away:

Sprinkle a little baking soda over the spot. Rub it in with a damp paper towel or rag. Rinse and wipe with a clean towel. If you’re unsure about possible damage to your countertop, test it on an out-of-sight corner first.

This worked for me, as it did for old marks on dry erase boards.

  1. Alot of the maintencance done on a countertop really depends on the type of surface you have. Most of the time, if you know the type of surface you have (i.e. Corian, granite), you can go on the companies website and the will have tips on what to do.
