		<description>I think you are absolutely right about teaching children to cook early - and I don&#039;t think three is too soon.  My eldest amazed me the other week by insisting on cooking the  main meal for us - she&#039;s 11.  Start now with the easy jobs (no sharp knives!) and you may get a meal out of it in a few years. A lot of mess in the meantime, though.
