Hi Lola, great question! I just started seriously using coupons about a month ago so I'm only starting to build up my stockpile.

I don't use up the items right away. My goal is to buy at low prices and store enough to use for a few months. Once I do, I stop buying that product. For example, I already have enough shampoo and conditioner to last for while, so I no longer get those, unless they come out free (in which case, I donate the items to a shelter).

I am totally impressed with you and everyone else who figures out the system and takes advantage of sales and coupons and ECBs like this. But I'm just wondering, what do you do with all the stuff you get? Do you really use it up right away? Or are you storing it somewhere? Granted, it's just me and my husband, and I'm sure the situation would be different if we had a larger family, but I have bottles of shampoo from two years ago when I bought it on sale, I just can't imagine going through stuff that quickly!
