Decluttering Challenge: Day 14

I’m so happy to be able to get rid of several old and non-working appliances today! I have a couple of TVs and VCRs, and a burned out sump pump that have been taking up space in the garage for months now.
I’ve been finding out that it’s not easy getting rid of old appliances. Where I live, we have to pay to for their recycling. So I’ve been looking for a free/cheap alternative. I finally found someone on Freecycle who needs scrap metal of all kinds.
So my decluttered items for Day 14 are old non-working appliances. My trash was someone’s treasure!
I’ve been trying to de-clutter for weeks. At the age of 61 and not moving too great any longer, I find it is time to leave this two story house. Problem is all the stuff I’ve saved. Long dead computers and printers. Freecycle is the best place to list things you no longer want. There is always someone who will take your junk and make it their treasure.
