Have you heard of Etsy? I’ve been reading about this site from my favorite scrapbook designers. It’s the “place to buy and sell all things handmade”. It’s the site for artists to showcase their creations. For homemakers, it a great source of handmade items like furniture and decor for the home!
Take these for example:

Live Edge Shelf No. 9: “A rustic hanging shelf made from two Cherry boards. Hangs on wall using two “keyhole” hangers set into the vertical piece. 27″ wide, 18″ high, 7 1/2″ deep”

Sunburst bed: “Wonderful handcrafted bed. A piece of art that will enhance the revitalization process and awaken you to a beautiful new day - everyday! King or Queen size bed in cherry and curly maple”

Contemporary Table Lamp - White Oak and Amboyna: This simple, yet elegant rectangular lamp is made from quartersawn white oak and amboyna wood… The lamp measures 12″ h x 8 1/2″ x 6 1/2″. Each lamp comes with a 40 watt flourescent bulb. Flourescent bulbs are recommended for this lamp”

Tropical flower . etched mirror: 16″ x 20″; mirror sold ready to frame.

Boot Bench with Mitten Tray: “This Bench is 18″ high, 8.75″ wide and 36” long. It has a lower bin that would be great for gloves, mittens, hats or other items. It can be used in an entery way or at the end of your bed.” This is a great addition to a mudroom!

I had not heard of them; but I think I’m in love. Thanks so much for sharing, this stuff is really beautiful. And right up my alley — all my furniture (that I like) is like this. I love the lamp!
