It’s been a while since my last giveaway and I’m excited to host this awesome package of a prize from the makers of Jig-A-Loo.
What’s Jig-A-Loo? Jig-A-Loo is a highly useful can to have around the house. It’s a lubricant that “stops squeaks, un-sticks just about anything, protects against rust, and is an exceptional water repellent”. You need to get on the company website to find out more because one lucky reader will win a year’s supply of Jig-A-Loo (3 10.9 oz cans) and $150 Home Depot gift card.
To enter, leave a comment telling us how you’ll use Jig-A-Loo to prepare your home for the fall/winter/rainy season. This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada. Contest closes on 11:59 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2008. Only one comment per household will be eligible.

good stuff, Maynard!
I will spray it along the window seals.
I WOULD USE JIG-A-LOO ON MY SHOVEL,AND THE WINDOW SEALS, AND ON MY JACKETS, SHOES,AND HATS BECAUSE IT REPELS WATER AND STOPS RUSTING.
I’ve never tried it…maybe I should.
I am going to use it on my lawn mower for the winter, on the blade, pull, spring on the gas, wheals, kill bar, power control.
I’d use Jig-A-Loo on my children’s coats and boots, and use it for our cabinet hinges so they stop squeaking. I’d probably use it most for stuck zippers because every year at least one of my kids have to have their winter coat replaced due to zippers getting stuck and me having to tug on them to get them to open.
I have used it on the squeaky floor in my family room.
I can use it on my sliding doors in the basement.
i’ll use it to cure all the squeeky doors i’ve been noticing lately
I’d use it to spray the windows to keep out the draft.
This would be so great for all our deck furniture that swings. It would help it so!
I’ve never used it but it seems it would work well on all hinges and probably on my roll up garage door!
I will use it on all of my out door power equipment, that I store for the winter. Also I’ll use it on my utility trailer’s electic connections, because it is great for them.
I’ll use it on the mower and outside devices.

our doghouse has a creaky floor- guess we cold go underneath and spray it
door hinges and springs, garage door, washing machine- oh lord guess I need to go get it huh
I’D use it on my mower and weed whacker before I store them for winter.
my bedroom and bathroom doors
I’d spray all my garden tools and shovels and I’d spray the double bay doors (which will rust) to the garage.
I’d use it on the lawnmower and snowplow. Also on the door hinges.
where we live, every season is rainy season, so i’ll just spray down everything…including the kids and dog
ANYTHING THAT NEEDS SPRAYING
Snow plow and shovels since we have snow six months out of the year.
My backdoor squeaks something fierce every time you open or close it. Make that SCREAMS. It has a particular pitch that just sends chills down my spine every time I hear it. It’s driving me nuts. I’d oil that baby first thing.
I will use it in place of WD40.
I need to use it on my tools before winter to prevent rust!
I would use it to clean all of my gardening tools, shovels, spades and hand trowels to prevent sticking soil and rust. Thanks for such a great giveaway!
I’ve tired all the other lubes, would sure like to try Jig-A-Loo.
First, I would use Jig-a-loo on our bathroom door that keeps squeeking…than I would use it on our snow blower, shovels, shoes, boots, bookbags, purses and jackets.
This product sounds so wonderful! What a great giveaway. Thank you for offering this.
Every door in my house squeeks and sometimes the gate on the fence wont close. This sounds like the perfect fix.
To get ready for the next hurricane coming here (Ike), I would go outside and spray it on all of the outside hinges. And then use it to prep the chainsaw (in case we have downed trees)!!
Thank you for a GREAT (and useful) giveaway!!
My husband will use it on his outdoor BOY tools and toys:)
I’d use it on my squeaky doors and on tools before storing for the winter
time to lube the garage door
When the temperature changes so do our doors for some reason. I can always tell who is leaving their bedroom by the squeak it gives. I would definately use this on my doors. Thanx for the contest.
I’ll use it on my squeaky doors! cdziuba@aol.com
I spray it along the window seals.

We just moved into a new house . I bought it to put on all the hindgesin the kitchen and the bedrooms
It would probably work well on the tracks for my garage door, as well as several other uses.
I will use it on all the sticky situations in and outside my home! In fact, I’m going to try it on a van door that is sticky!
I lived on the coast so everything metal outside will be sprayed along with the zippers in all my too tight jeans:)
I would use it on my radiant heating system’s water pump. Also, the snow blower and yard work tools could use some oil. Thanks for a great contest!
Use it on door hinges and locks.
I would use it on the lawn mower and other garden equipment, after cleaning them and before storing them away for the winter. I also have some squeaky doors that could really use Jig-A-Loo.
Our building is 60 years old and the windows all stick like crazy. This might actually help!
