It’s been a while since my last giveaway and I’m excited to host this awesome package of a prize from the makers of Jig-A-Loo.
What’s Jig-A-Loo? Jig-A-Loo is a highly useful can to have around the house. It’s a lubricant that “stops squeaks, un-sticks just about anything, protects against rust, and is an exceptional water repellent”. You need to get on the company website to find out more because one lucky reader will win a year’s supply of Jig-A-Loo (3 10.9 oz cans) and $150 Home Depot gift card.
To enter, leave a comment telling us how you’ll use Jig-A-Loo to prepare your home for the fall/winter/rainy season. This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada. Contest closes on 11:59 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2008. Only one comment per household will be eligible.

We sue it to keep the garage door wheels spinning freely in the Fall and Winter. They tend to get squeeky and hard to move at the first sign of cold weather.
I have a hundred uses for it
I have lots of things around the house that could use a little oiling… like my computer chair!
I’d use it on all my locks to be sure I can always come in from the cold!
I would stop all the squeaks in my doors. They drive me nuts!
I would use it on my door hinges, because they always squeak and sometimes in the winter they freeze. Thanks!
I would use it on my outside doors on the hinges.
I will use Jig-a-Loo on my zipper pulls, as well as on the parts of my travel scooter that seize or squeek.
I’ve never used it but it seems it would work well on all hinges and probably on my roll up garage door
I use Jig-A-Loo on my doors and windows to keep them from squeaking.
I’d use it on the lawnmower, snowplow, and door hinges.
on my lawn mower
THANK YOU GOD BLESS
All the stuff it suggests on the can.
I would use it on our front door. It’s old and not only does it creak, but sometimes it sticks and it’s difficult to open and close.
When I was checking out their website I saw Jig-a-Patch. My husband and I were talking about needing something like this for our walls. I’m definetly going to look for it at Home Depot next time we go!!
My garage door needs constant lubricating. This will help.
I’d use it on the hinges of our screen doors to stop the squeaking.
Window slides and squeak doors
I’ll use it on the lawn mower and all the squeaky hinges!
I could use it everywhere. My husband’s gone and the house needs more work than I can afford to do.
I could really use this.
I would use it on our hinges and sliding glass doors!!!

We like jig-a-loo on our screen door track since it always sticks, that makes it easier to open!
First and foremost I would use Jig-A-Loo on my squeaky bedroom door. It drives me nuts. Then I would use it as a water repellent on my ski jacket.

since the site says it doesn’t stain and it’s safe to use on fabrics i spray it on my winter coat and on a couple of shoes to keep out water. would love to try it out on a couple of dressers too!
All the door hinges, so that my wife doesn’t hear me come in late.
I live in a very rainy climate and would use it to waterproof shoes and fix my squeaky back door

I would use this fabulous product to protect my garden tools, lawn mowers, water fountain, pond ornaments and outdoor furniture from corrosion and freezing. Thanks for introducing me to this great product.
My husband does lawn care, so he’d use it on his mower and equipment.
I’d use it to lubricate my sliding glass door tracks during fall/pre-winter cleanup time.
Around here with two kids and a husband; if it squeeks, rusts, has movable parts, gets wet, stays outside, or has hinged parts it gets jig-a-loo. The cat even knows to look out!
I would use it on my sliding glass door
I will use it on my oak desk drawer as they are heavy and so not slide well.
My mailbox and door locks, window seals, rain boots, tools ….. everything and the kitchen sink!
I will use it on my kitchen window where I have poor leverage and need it to slide as easily as possible since I can’t apply strength.
DH would use it on the lawn mower, garage door hinges, and on our door locks on the house and car.
My husband could use this in the garage and I could use it with my gardening tools
I’d use it on my pool filter, my doorknobs, and my sliding closet doors.
