It’s been a while since my last giveaway and I’m excited to host this awesome package of a prize from the makers of Jig-A-Loo.
What’s Jig-A-Loo? Jig-A-Loo is a highly useful can to have around the house. It’s a lubricant that “stops squeaks, un-sticks just about anything, protects against rust, and is an exceptional water repellent”. You need to get on the company website to find out more because one lucky reader will win a year’s supply of Jig-A-Loo (3 10.9 oz cans) and $150 Home Depot gift card.
To enter, leave a comment telling us how you’ll use Jig-A-Loo to prepare your home for the fall/winter/rainy season. This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada. Contest closes on 11:59 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2008. Only one comment per household will be eligible.

I would use it on all my summer tools before they are put up for winter. Spray all my squeeky doors & cabinets & probably waterproof a few of the kids things.
This stuff is great!!! It’s replacing Duct tape as my #1 man tool! Let me win and I’ll share it with all my neighbors so they can see how many things this stuff can be used for! Home Depot here I come!!
Because we live in the desert, winter is when we come out of hibernation! I’d use it to get the lawnmower ready for a work-out, and along the window in the kitchen since it sticks. I want to let in the cool air we’ve been missing all summer!
We need to do a fall cleaning, which means get things ready to put away until next Spring. Jig-A-Loo is good for lubricating the tools, the mower, the bikes . . . and the doors and the windows and the garage door opener. (I think I can keep DH busy for awhile.)
I could use it so many things, but mainly the kids swingset, to help keep it from rusting
My dd’s bicycle.
I would use it on my patio door that sticks and squeaks!
Boy OH BOY Could I use this
We have some exterior doors that are really hard to unlock. I’ve heard of Jig A Loo, but I’ve never tried it, and I was just telling my husband about it yesterday. We both agreed we should search it out. It’d be awesome to try it for free!
I’ve never used Jig A Loo, but I’ve got lots of squeaky things I could use it on…
I’d use it on my window seals and sliding glass doors.
Spray it in the tracks of your sliding glass doors — just have to remember that you DID that, though, otherwise it is now easily possible, while expecting to have to fight the door to get it open, to actually sling it open so hard that it scares the neighbors!
I am going to use Jig-a-loo on all of our winter boots. My bicycle gears will get a coat too. I can’t wait to use Jig-a-loo on all of the squeeky doors in my house
Door hinges and around windows to prevent that cold winter air from coming in!
My windows need a good healthy spray as well as my car doors.
I would use it on our kitchen doorknob. There’s something weird wrong with it and this would probably help. I would also use it on my squeaky car door. Thankyou!
I could definitely use a can of Jig-A-Loo on our front door. Over the summer it has become incredibly sticky and it makes a horrible noise when opened or shut.
first stop – jacket zippers!
I would first use it on my garage door hinges.
I would us it on my doors, windows, drawers, and outside lawn equipment.
Thank you!

I’m going to try it, sounds great!
Living 5 feet about sealevel on the West Coast of florida – If you make it through hurricane season it an answered prayer – but the wet weather and humidity guarantees many small repairs that this product would be perfect for.
