Kitchen Must Have: Pyrex Portable

When you need to transport a meal, it’s important to keep the food at the correct temperature. Bacteria can quickly grow on food when it is not kept at proper conditions. Also, when you’re headed to a covered dish meal you want your food to taste good. It is for these reasons that I enjoy my Pyrex Portable dish so much.
Today we had a covered dish luncheon after church. Having my Pyrex Portable made it so much easier to decide what I would cook and how it would stay warm. I baked my cheesy chicken bake in the Pyrex dish, nuked the hot pack in the microwave, put the lid on the dish, and put everything into the handy carrying case. When it was time for lunch today, the food was still hot.
Each Pyrex Portable comes with a dish with snap on lid, heatable pack, and insulated carrying case with handles. They also come in a few different sizes so you can select the one(s) that will best suit your needs. Although I have never tried this, Pyrex says that their dishes can go directly from refrigerator and freezer to microwave or oven.
I have had my Pyrex Portable for at least 8 years or more and have used it so many times without any problems. Do you use Pyrex Portables?
