Here’s a wacky way to eat hotdogs this summer! The Octodog (above) turns an ordinary hotdog into this:

It’s easy to use. Just insert one hotdog into the Octodog. Add the eyes to hold it in place. Push down gently. Remove the eyes before shaking out the tentacled hotdog.
Aside from being fun, the Octodog could also make eating hotdogs safer for children:
The hotdog is among the top ten items found in many lists concerning choking occurrences in young children. Pediatricians recommend slicing a hotdog linearly. The method of slicing a hotdog linearly can reduce the chances of choking during consumption. A sliced hotdog is a safer way to serve hotdogs to children. Octodogs are not only fun, but may be a safer way to serve hotdogs.
I always slice hotdogs linearly before I give them to my kid. Seeing an octopus (or as he says it, “ocpotus”) on his plate would really flip him out. Try it out!
Happy homemaking this summer!

Too, too cute! I may have to try this one out. Would make those dogs a lot more fun to serve!
These would be perfect for a kid’s party, don’t you think?
