Keeping the Castle

Odd Job of the Day (8-13-08)

Here’s a cleaning job you can do in 5 minutes or less in your kitchen today.

Wipe the outside of one small kitchen appliance (toaster, coffeemaker, etc.). Use a dry paper towel or rag. Most small appliances that sit out on the kitchen counter accumulate grease and dust on their surfaces. These are best removed without water. Rub the paper towel vigorously on the surface to remove the dirt, and get that appliance to shine. Even if you only have 5 minutes, you’ll see what a difference it makes!

my added tip to that – use the disinfecting wipe! It works great on grease, and I use one to clean and shine my black cooking range.
