Keeping the Castle

Printable Grocery List

May 21, 2005 by Maricar

Woman’s Day has a printable grocery list that makes shopping easy. In this list, the basic necessities are listed in categories. All you need to do is check the box that applies before you go shopping. It even has spaces for adding your own items. For those who often forget specific items when shopping, this would be a useful time-saving tool.

To get the grocery list and other printables at Woman’s Day, click here. The grocery list is in the section “Family Worksheets”.

Hi Maricar — I clicked on the link as I was interesting in printing a grocery list template and it wasn’t there. Help!

Hi Christine, Sorry about the previous error in the link. Woman’s Day doesn’t seem to allow a direct link to the grocery list. I changed the link to go to their list of printables. You should find the grocery list there.

Look no further! I found an excellent grocery list that is categorized by shopping sections. All you have to do is click the items and it will build your list by section. You may add notes to each item or add an item (fill in the blank by category). you can then save your list(s), email them, or print them out. It is simply wonderful. Enjoy!!

  1. [...] * Grocery list – You may have a weekly grocery list that you make-up from scratch. Or maybe you have one on your computer that you print out and check off. Do you have it in your wallet, or is it posted on the refrigerator so family members can add to it? Whatever it is, a grocery list is essential to make sure nothing’s forgotten, and to cut down on impulse buying. [...]

  2. [...] I almost always have a grocery list going at any time of the week. Whenever I find out that we’re out of this or that item, I put it on the list. The ingredients I need for the following week’s menu are checked against this list. I do this every week and bring the list to the store for the regular restocking of the pantry. [...]
