Spring Cleaning Checklist Part 2
Dusted the blinds in the living room? Check. Cleaned the refrigerator? Check. Dusted the computer? Check.
To get the rest of the house clean for spring, here’s Part 2 of the spring cleaning checklist:
In the bedroom:
* Dust the blinds and wash/change the draperies, just as you did for the living room.
* Flip the mattresses.
* Clean out your closet. Identify the items you didn’t wear this winter and donate them.
* Put away your winter clothes and take out your spring wardrobe.
In the bathroom:
* Wash the shower curtain liner in the washing machine. Hang it up to dry.
* Clean the light fixtures.
* Organize your medicine cabinet. Throw away expired medicines and beauty products.
Outside the house:
* Wash awnings, patio furniture and umbrellas.
* Wash the windows and screens.
* Clean light fixtures.
* Hose down porches, driveways and walks.
* Replace storm windows.
Others:
* Vacuum air conditioner vents.
* Change batteries in smoke detectors.
* Replace filters.
