I know that today is not the first day of summer, but to me June 1st means summer. During this time of year, the days are longer and hotter, and the kids are counting down the days until their summer break.
June makes me think of hot weather, ice cream, popsicles, swimming, sleeping in, playing in the yard, vacations, sunscreen, the beach, mowing the grass, lemonade, cooking on the grill, family, summer camp, and doing nothing.

A Busy Week of Easter Activities

It has been a busy week with loads of Easter activites.
Our first activity was an egg hunt on Saturday, April 4 at our church. There were other fun activities to go along with the egg hunt. The kids dyed eggs, made a craft, had snack, and hunted for eggs.
Wednesday there was a party at church for the kids. I’m told it involved slime, games, and other fun.

Easter is only two days away. Where has the time gone? I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to the nice weather and beautiful flowers blooming. It’s such a beautiful sign of life.
