We just moved into our new home a few weeks ago and I’m still working on getting settled. This house has a pretty good amount of closets, but it’s needing some shelving and organizational materials to maximize the space.
One of my struggles is organizing the clothes in the bedroom that is shared by the two smaller children. We have future plans to turn some attic space into a fourth bedroom, but for now they’re sharing and I need to work with the space we have.

How To Fix Stretched Sweater Cuffs

At one point or another, we’ve all probably found ourselves with stretched out sweater cuffs. We certainly don’t want to throw out the sweater, but we don’t like the look of a stretched or worn out sweater.
Real Simple has a video and simple instructions for fixing a stretched sweater cuff. You’ll only need boiling water and a blow dryer. It’s worth a try.

Storing your seasonal clothes

‘Tis the season to store your sweaters and wools and other winter clothes to get them out of the way and protect them from bugs and other damage while they aren’t being worn regularly. Carolyn Forte from Good Housekeeping offers these tips to store your clothes without the use of stinky mothballs (via ABC):
It’s important to use acid-free cardboard boxes and tissue. By just lightly folding and wrapping in tissue, you can help avoid creases and discoloration.//< ![CDATA[ OAS_AD('Middle1'); //]]>
