I did not grow up in a house supplied with coffee. Neither of my parents drank it. Pretty much, the only exposure I had to it came from a jar of instant coffee at my grandparent’s house because my grandmother was the only one who drank it. When my mom was growing up, she was told that drinking coffee would turn your feet black and so she steered clear of the beverage.

I think back to my early days of drinking coffee and can’t help but to smile. I had no clue what a good cup of coffee was, which is obvious by all of the cream and sugar I put into a cup. I have to wonder how many people I served coffee to that thought it was absolutely horrible. Since then, I have tasted the goodness of coffee and now I just can’t go back. Do you enjoy McDonald’s iced coffee? Do you find it’s an inexpensive treat in which to indulge? Before your next coffee, you might want to read some interesting information about the ingredients in a McDonald’s iced coffee. Rachel from Small Notebook gives us some food for thought.
