The decluttering challenge I issued to myself is turning out to be harder than it looked at first. Really, one item a day shouldn’t be too hard, right? Well, it’s turning out to be a challenge. There are days when I haven’t tossed anything.
While we don’t have a whole lot of clutter, I know that there is still room to be had by paring down stuff to what’s useful or beautiful. Decluttering Challenge: Days 2-4

This is what’s great about blogging about homemaking. It keeps me on my toes!
What have I gotten rid of since I began my one-day-at-a-time decluttering challenge?
Day 2: three old t-shirts. These shirts were part of product promotions in the lab where I once worked. They have company logos; one has a photo of a fruit fly’s face (with teeth!). I always said they make great sleep shirts. But the thing is they don’t. They’re tents. So I took them out of my closet. They’ll be great for making Morsbags.

Getting Rid of Clutter One Day at a Time

A few months ago, I told you about the 365 Day Clutter Challenge hosted by SAHMmy Says. I can’t find the original blog anymore, but it looks like there’s at least one other blog that’s hosting this, as well as a forum on the FlyLady network that’s dedicated to this.
