Wordy Wednesday: My Trip to New York

As previously mentioned, I went to New York last week for the Wisk Bubbles & Bubbly event.  I promised you all more pictures and information, so I thought Wordless Wordy Wednesday was a good time for that.

Flying is a big deal for me. Last year was the first time I had flown in 17 years. Changing elevations makes me queasy. Thankfully, this year I knew more what to expect at the airport so I was a little more relaxed.

Wisk sent a car to my house to take me to the airport. Then when I got to the airport, a driver …read more

Wordy Wednesday: Rescuing a Baby Chick

A few months ago, we had a bird that built a nest along the outside of our house.  The problem is that she built it in a bad location.  She found a small opening along the under side of the roof (sorry, I don’t know the terminology) where the vinyl wasn’t properly together.  She build her nest up there and the weight of her nest and little chicks caused the hole to expand a little and some of her chicks fell out of the nest.  We were too late with the first chick.  We did not find her in time.  The second one …read more

Wordy Wednesday: Neverending Story

Dishes and laundry are never ending chores. Just when you think you’ve finished the chore, someone eats a bowl of cereal or changes their clothes.

To help keep up with the dishes, try this tip. As soon as the dishwasher is done washing the dishes, unload the dishes and put them away. This will allow you to put the new dirty dishes inside without cluttering up your sink and making a big mess. When I follow this tip, my kitchen stays cleaner and it leaves me not as stressed. And now, your family has no excuse …read more

Wordless Wednesday: Feeding the Donkey

As promised last week, here are more pictures of our neighborhood animals.  This donkey ate the carrots right out of our hands.  I hope to take more pictures again this week.  We’ll see how it goes.  Enjoy!
