The Best of Keeping the Castle

I’ve been blogging here for a while now, and I’ve just recently realized that I haven’t listed my favorite posts anywhere. So, in no particular order, here are what I consider to be the best of Keeping the Castle:
* How to make a monthly menu is a step by step guide to planning your meals so you can maximize the recipes you are familiar with and have time to explore new dishes. Do away with the weekly menu planning session!
* I did a series of posts about the many ways to get a perfectly hard-boiled egg (here, here, here and here).
* Practical Tips for Everyday Living is a both collection of posts and a page containing short practical tips for just about anything.
* A post with ideas and photos for mudroom organization is one of my recent favorites.
* If you haven’t tried this recipe for ribs, oooh, you gotta!
* I listed some steps you can take to shop for groceries in less time.
* This list won’t be complete without some tips for speed-cleaning your home.
* Last month’s 50 ways to add color to your home was a fun thing to do.
* Finally, I have 50 crockpot recipes to keep you warm this fall.
