Keeping the Castle

The Couponizer

Couponizer SystemI’ve got a mini-file full of coupons. I thought I’ve got the coupon-clipping thing organized. But there are times when I’m frustrated with the number of potential money-savers that I don’t use. I forget which coupons I have, and rifling through the whole lot to find what I need is not most efficient, especially if I’m already in the grocery store.

The Couponizer may be just what I need to get a handle on these little pieces of paper. Invented by Amy Bergin, it has been called the “Hottest Coupon Accessory on the Market” by Val-Pak.com.

What makes her product different is that it is not just a holder for coupons; it is a complete shopping system with tools that support every process associated with organizing, shopping and saving money consistently. “Once I realized managing the day to day household expenses of a family budget is a skill, not a pastime, my whole attitude towards striving to live within our means took on new meaning” Amy comments. “My system is simply a by-product of this realization and I knew I needed to share it with other Moms or anyone who might share the struggle to stabilize spending.

The Couponizer system consists of a wire-bound booklet, a guide to smart savings, a sorting mat for all your clippings, a shopping list, a monthly savings record, scissors and a carrying bag. The system uses 18 grocery categories organized like aisles in a grocery store, so finding coupons should be easy!

Hi, I was just reading your article and thought I would tell you about a site I found. It is called http://www.groceryguide.com/ You can use it to make a shoppinglist out of the weekly ad sales. You said that you don’t end up using coupons because you forget about them, Grocery Guide matches the coupons to the sales for you. It is free and pretty cool, you should try it out before you purchase one of those couponizers.
