I really hope I don't spend 9 of the very limited number of years I have on this earth cleaning up things that someone's just going to dirty the moment I turn around. I do care about the health of my family, but I am not passionate about a neat and tidy home. Ours definitely looks lived-in all the time! As for the last line of the article, I can't think of any activity that I'd prefer housework to, even if I do have a headache. :) I really haven't considered what does give me feelings of empowerment.
