For the third election year 7-11 is running thier unofficial Coffee Cup poll. In past elections the poll has been pretty much spot on, interestingly enough. The way it works, if you haven’t done it, is this-
When people come in for their 7-11 coffee they can pick a red or blue cup, signifying their choice of candidate. Red for Republican, blue for Democrat..or they can choose a neutral cup if they are undecided.
So far it is Obama 58% McCain 42%.
Now, why is it when I hear stories like this that I get the sudden urge to furtively replace the coffee cups with psychedellic red and blue tie dye cups?

I’d go for a tie dyed cup. I certainly do not want to be accosted over my political views while having coffee.
Coffee drinking is meant to be a moment when I sit, rest, and plan my next move. It is not for political debate!
Ah…you could chuck the hot coffee at them and run…
The Mccain coffee tastes old, stale and bitter.
That is interesting Reggie, I found the 7-11 Obama to be green, rather immature, with a rich, promising aroma that was was weak in the cup.
