East is meeting west as Bigelow and AriZona teas team up to create a new line of organic ready to drink tea.

The flavors they are offering are:
Organic Green Tea Acai White Cranberry : Regarded as a miracle fruit by many, the acai berry’s tantalizing tropical flavor blends exquisitely with white cranberry to create a uniquely flavorful green tea.
· Organic Green Tea Original Green: The pure, clean flavor of perfectly brewed, all natural green tea … light, refreshing and rich in nutritional benefits.
· Organic Green Tea Lemon Ginger : Delightfully subtle yet tart, its delicate, lemony flavor is balanced with the gentle spice of ginger.
· Organic Green Tea Mango Lychee : Fantastically fruity! Juicy mango and exotic lychee combine for a unique and delectable taste of refreshment.
They are made with organic sugar cane and sound like they might be a nice change from cokes and other heavily sweetened drinks when you want something besides water or plain sweet tea.
I wish that when companies send out press releases they would also send samples because it is really hard for me to talk about something I haven’t tried. I like Bigelow Teas, and I like that they are increasingly becoming more involved with organics. Arizona has always made really good stuff so I expect this will be good as well. How could you go wrong with Green Tea, Mango, Lychee? YUM! Anyway, if they offer me a sample I will let you know what I think. If you happen to try it, let me know what you think…deal?

I’ve never tried Arizona to be honest, but I’ve always been a big fan of Bigelow (Oolong is my tea of choice). I’ll have to hope my hubby’s store starts carrying these and give them a try.
I think it is going to be awesome Wendy.
Marye, I also saw that Celestial Seasonings has a line of coffees out now with the same names as some of their tea flavors – morning thunder and about 4 others. (What this has to do with Bigelow and Arizona, I have no idea, guess the common thread is tea companies?)
Yep I wrote about that a while back.
Marye,
I really need your help about coffee. I am a tea drinker big time but have 1 cup of coffee 3 mornings a week at my brothers deli when I help him out. I read your take on Starbucks Arabia brew yesterday and went out and bought a pound! NOW WHAT? I don’t even have a coffee grinder?! I really want to taste these beans. The Starbucks lady said they don’t sell cups of it over the counter so I just went a bit crazy and bought it. How would you brew a cup of this? I can find a grinder (I think I have one hidden in the cupboard for herb grinding) but then what? Please help me if possible. I know I am crazy but life is short….
Winnie just grind it up, using about 1 tablespoon coffee for every 8 ozs of water. That is about 1/2 cup for 8 cups of coffee. You will need to be ready to add a little water to weaken it if it is too strong for your tastes.
