Black Tea and Pearly Whites

According to a study in India, black tea may help prevent tooth decay. While sodas and even orange juice erode the enamel on your teeth the tea helps to keep it from eroding and rotting.

Good to know. I am guessing though, that they are thinking that you don;t add that pound of sugar we in the South like in our sweet tea?

The researchers are trying, for some odd reason, to prove that there is a healthier drink than water.  First of all, I sure hope that they don;t start talking to NASA .

They could easily prove that almost anything, including rot gut whiskey, is healthier than our water.  We pay an outrageous price for water and every six months we get a little slip of paper that says “Lancaster (Texas) water did not pass state testing.  There is no reason to worry.  There are no health risks at this time.  We are working on it.

Makes me feel better.  You?

Wish I’d known it sooner. And I don’t understand the attack on bottled water of the past few years. I love my bottled water and can not tolerate that which comes straight from my tap… I’m inclined to think that my town already figured something out. Nope, never wondered if the astronauts drink coffee either.

  1. [...] Black Tea and Pearly Whites… again, I’m going to learn to like this is it kills me. At the moment I’m going through Root Canal and if a cup or two of black tea could have prevented it, well, I would have gulped it down, no questions asked. Marye to the rescue. :) [...]
