Oh my! That description was heavenly...just like reading a novel. ;>

Sorry about the camera, though I am no photo expert so I think these photos look very good.

Wow Mike, thanks! I am very self conscious about my reviews. I keep waiting for a coffee snob to sneer. :/ Anyway, read what I said to Nate.. and I love your reviews.
I like the coffee...and I will be getting more..I am testing out their club.

Naw, Nate..it's o.k... I hate reading those words in catalogs because it seems to me that they are overused. There are a lot of great food vocabulary words...I wish the companies would learn to use them. I have had coffee beans that have an anise flavor but these were different.
Thanks for stopping by...and no worries..I am a word snob.

Please don't hold nutty and smokey against me! I've used them both, but as I write more reviews I have been trying to expand my taste and the words to describe it. I really wish I could write the reviews as well as you.

I'm sorry that the experience didn't go as well for you, but at least you got some "horses" out of it.

Marye, I used the term 'chocolate' to describe the finish of a coffee I reviewed last week. Please don't hold it against me :) I can appreciate where you are coming from, and I enjoyed your review of this coffee. I LOVE the shiny, dark roasts. I had a new coffee last week, and I was struggling to describe the aroma. After making myself dizzy from inhaling the CO2 from the beans, it finally hit me. ANISE aka black licorice! You reminded me of that when you used the A&W analogy.
