Coffee to Serve with Thanksgiving Dinner

Do you have your Thanksgiving menu all written up and ready to go and are in a quandary as to what coffee to serve?
It didn’t used to be this way…back in the day before gourmet coffee you just headed to the store, grabbed some Maxwell House or Folgers and poured it into the cannister. We didn’t know it tasted stale..it was coffee.
Now there are so many to choose from. Organic, whole bean, roast your own, flavored, unflavored, country of origin….
Here are some coffees to think about if you aren’t sure what to serve for Thanksgiving Dinner.
- Pumpkin Spice goes great with dessert, or after dessert.
- Ugly Mug is still on my top 5 list. This Burundi sounds like the perfect unflavored to stand up to a variety of tastes and textures at the feast.
- Autumn Harvest Blend by Green Mountain. Not flavored, smooth and balanced.
- El Salvador Finca San Jose I will admit to not having tried this but it is a serious consideration for my Thanksgiving table. With notes of plum, mission fig and brown sugar I think it will be perfect with turkey, goose, or ham.
- I will let you in on a secret. Cavallini Roasters are the ones that do my custom roast Cameo blend as well as our custom flavored tea. Bonnie is incredible, energetic and fantastic to work with. I have NEVER been disappointed with anything I have purchased here. The Bourbon Pecan flavored coffee is fantastic. The only reason I don’t drink this coffee exclusively anymore is I need to do reviews on other companies for Kettle and Cup!

Ohhh, a secret coffee. You know, if you say it’s good, I really believe that it is.
Everyone always seems to want a good brewed cup of coffee after the big Thanksgiving meal. I usually wind up serving a very generic coffee because tastes are so different. At least that way I can hope to satisfy the majority, but I’d like to try something special this year.
Thanks for the tip!
sure Vee, thanks for coming by…
