And put it in a dirty cup……
They are taking over the world…Oh. My. Gosh. I am so concerned for the future of coffee.
POM has announced the launch of POMx Iced Coffee, another healthy coffee drink…only this one is Fair Trade, too.
According to the POM company, the makers of pomegranate juice drinks, the POMx Iced coffee does not taste like pomegranate. WHEW. Thanks guys..that was a relief..you had me worried there….
What it does have is a hefty dose of caffeine and antioxidants. It is touted as “a sophisticated energy drink for consumers who seek an energy boost but who typically avoid the excess sugar and artificial ingredients associated with carbonated
sodas, coffee beverages and energy drinks.”
It comes in two flavors; Cade au Lait and Chocolate. Everything is organic, Rain Forest Alliance certified, and made without growth hormones or GMOs.
The company claims that each can contains a special ingredient ( I feel like I am talking to the Cat in the Hat here) of HealthyBuzz.
I am so serious. That is what they are calling it.
Healthy Buzz is ” a stimulating 175mg dose of caffeine and enough POMx to equal the antioxidant power of an 8 oz. daily dose of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice”
yay. And is it good for your prostate, too.
Not so much for your wallet. At 2.99 a pop I don’t think it is going to be something alot of us NON-yuppie types get on a regular basis…or at least admit to. You can find out more at Healthy Buzz.
Please. If Green Mountain comes out with a Iced Coffee and Wheatgrass smoothie..please don’t tell me, o.k.? I will be right over here with my Folgers instant in the cracked melamine cup.

**snort** healthy is so overrated. Give me sludge in a cup and I am content. I hate that I will even dish out SB prices. I certainly won’t dish out for a vitamin punched coffee…Then I might notice that my sludge is sludge…..kwim
LOL Deb! You are so my twin.
The description of that drink doesn’t even really sound like it’s coffee! People have been drinking regular coffee for hundreds of years…I’ll think I’ll just stick with that!
I agree, coffee fanatic!
