Documentary On How Numi Flowering Tea is Made

I have never had much luck with the flowering teas. We bought some for the tea room thinking that it would be an amazing addition to special tea parties. I ended up discontinuing them because I just was not pleased with the consistency of the opening of them.
BUT…this video is amazing! It shows how the tea is grown, and how it is made by hand into those flowering teas…and theirs magically opens up!
I still don’t recommend the teas; however I found this video fascinating!

Is anyone else imagining the reaction of the kids to plants in a tea pot if they have no idea it was meant to be that way?
….They walk by noticing it on the counter….”ew gross someone dumped weeds in mommy’s tea pot. Boy are they gonna be in trouble! Maybe we should clean it before she finds out…..”
It seems really cool to me….if you know in advance that it is a flowering tea! LOL
Yeah, except I could never get them to work right. :/
My kids would SO think this was a science experiment.
Our family just thinks these are beautiful! My kids are used to drinking/eating all sorts of weeds and herbs, so it would just be a *pretty* herbal tea to them. Sad that they don’t always open right, they do look amazing.
